I do except I would like to be married first and at the rate I'm going in the relationship department, by biological clock will probably expire by then. I suppose I could always adopt.
The best things about being a parent is watching your children grow and develop, it's exciting to see them change over time and pass developmental milestones. Also little kids can be very cute and say the darndest things. I also like having someone who will love me back (they may not always admit though!) and it provides security in the distant future when I'm growing old and need someone to take care of me. Most likely I'll die first so my kids could take care of me. I know that last reason is kind of selfish.
The worst things would be that having kids can be physically and emotionally draining. Not only do you have your own problems to worry about, but you have to start worrying about your kids problems. You'll lose a bunch of free time you once had. Kids are also expensive.
