    For Obe's question:

I live for the joy of accepting humanness; late-night conversations that span hours and end with you feeling an intense heat in your chest, like light refracted in a jewel; compassion from someone else when you need it most and might not even know it; compassion for someone who has none for themselves; nights that remind you of why you love your friends so much; spending the night in a house you feel so welcome in you almost call it "home"; hearing someone say, "I'm glad you came over"; sunshine in winter; blue skies; ice on the trees, shimmering like tinsel; playfulness; green in the summer; this smiley used in abundance; libraries.

    Nope.

One of the funnest nights you've ever had? Or, if you prefer, just answer Obe's question: What do you live for?
    They're running just like you

I live to build, and to foster growth. Right now my biggest building project is my family, and my chief objects of my effort to foster growth are my children.

I live to create, to provide, and to protect... and I laugh a lot along the way too.

If I could bring you twenty pounds of your favorite fruit, what kind would you choose?

    Man, that's so hard! :steam:

Fresh pineapple. But close runners-up were peaches, watermelon, plums, strawberries, honeydew, a certain kind of cherries I really like...

If I could send you a few dozen of them, what kind of flower would you choose?

A plant or herbs would be better, even though I'm unable to keep anything besides weeds alive for long.

What did you most recently get excited about?

The thing that sticks out in my mind is giving my friend her birthday present. Going downtown to play in Gameworks was exciting, too.

Nothing that would be frowned upon by the authorities something consumable like a tomato plant or edible herbs would be good.

    Best movie you've seen lately?

A dahlia, potted please. My grandfather used to grow them in his garden, and if you gave me one I'd resume the tradition.

    Back rub or foot rub?
