Don't have any idea what nanotech is, so I'm going to have to go green.

What's one thing you've recently tried - and perhaps are still trying - not to get your hopes up about? If you can't think of anything, then what was one of your biggest disappointments?

I had a week-long project to turn in, proofing code. I had already given notice, and I hated the work, the environment, and that project in particular.

So I did nothing. I sat at my desk and did nothing for eight hours every one of those five days, and on the last day turned the project in as completed when it wasn't.

In my right frame of mind I wouldn't have done such a thing, but at that point I was so burnt out and depressed I couldn't muster the will to do the work, nor to face the fact that I hadn't.

    What's your worst recurring dream?

My maternal grandfather's acrylic cardigan. I refuse to let my wife throw it away.

What's the most embarrassing moment you've ever experienced?

    Well, it's funny now, but...
It was at my endocrinologist's office when I hit puberty. The guy's voice was LOUD... I could hear him talking to other patients in the waiting room. My dad decided to tell him that I was concerned about my pubescent progress (note: I was seeing this guy for my diabetes... my dad's comment came out of nowhere), so the endocrinologist said in his super loud, super nasal voice: "YOU WILL DEVELOP FULL SIZED BREASTS AND GET YOUR PERIOD WITHIN A YEAR! blah blah BREASTS blah blah PERIOD!" Then I got to march out through the waiting room knowing everyone heard it. I almost killed my dad...

If you could be anything regardless of talent or intelligence, what would you be?
