It depends on the trip. Given our technology as it stands today it would probably be a one-way trip, in which case I wouldn't want to bring anyone else along if they weren't willing to make that sacrifice. If it was made using some sort of faster-than-light technology and we could easily return I'd bring along anyone else who wanted to go.
You could travel to another solar system, however it would be a solo, one-way trip and you'd never come back. Would you?
^ Hands down it's Buddha. I just have one question to ask him. 2nd choice would go to any arhat (though I could name a few that I prefer) and the third would go to any leading figure of a monotheistic religion (jesus > moses > abraham > mohomed).
It's such an interesting question. So I repeat it.
If I could meet, in the flesh, any three figures from history it would be 1)Jesus 2)Gladys Aylward 3)Confuscious or St. Francis, either one would be an interesting meet
Okay, question for the next person:
Who do you think you are? (has that been asked yet? Doesn't matter. I'm allowed to ask anything I want, right?)
A student said to his master: "You teach me fighting, but you talk about peace. How do you reconcile the two?" The master replied: "It is better to be a warrior in a garden than to be a gardener in a war." - unknown/Chinese
No, never, because I wouldn't want someone to control my actions ever and I believe in the golden rule.
What do you feel about cookies?
I'm for em. Kinda picky. I was a late bloomer on all cookies but oreos. now i'm into super soft ones. no coconut. also i'm allergic to walnuts and pecans, so none of those. But I'll definitely get down on a cookie or two.
Internet cookies are kinda weird to me. I feel creeped out by them like attaching themselves to me or whatever they do. But I also spend like zero time thinking about them, so whatever.
Never met a woman named Cookie, but I'm sure there are plenty of nice ones. Not my favorite name though, I must say.
What was the first album you ever bought?
You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
