    Whenever it starts to interfere with your self-development rather than encourage it (by making you reluctant to take risks or perform less well on what you want to do, or whatever). Which happens pretty easily.

    After watching Marry Poppins I thought that if my brother and I got an umbrella and jumped off the balcony we'd fly... My Dad came home just in time...

    A Clockwork Orange, but the book, and the British version.. they both have merit, but I like what the author intended.
