    I got some inspiration from How do we really look thread and from Whatever's blog . So here are MBTI dog breeds:

    NF's
    ENFP: Rough Collie: Friendly but can bite if annoyed enough


    ENFJ: Bernese Mountain Dogs: Friendy and intelligent guys


    INFP : Shetland Sheepdog: Like cousing ENFP's...?


    INFJ: Border Collie: intelligent and friendly


    SP's
    ISTP: Bullmastiff: Tough and reserved


    ESTP: Rotweiler: Ready for action!


    ESFP: Jack Russell Terrier: Always ready to play


    ISFP: toy fox terrier: ready to fun but a bit reserved


    SJ's
    ISTJ: Dalmatian: Well controlled.


    ESTJ: dobermann: Guardian


    ESFJ: Labradorian Retriever: I love you all!


    ISFJ: Spaniel: Friendly and sweet


    NT's
    INTJ:Weimaraner: Intelligence hunters


    ENTJ: Giant Schnauzer: Order, order!


    INTP: Australian Kelpie: one of the smartest dogs


    ENTP: Wheaten terrier: Smart and funny or tough -however you like it?

    Don't really feel like finding photos, but here are some breeds and types:

    German Shepherd: ISTJ -- hard-working, alert, quiet

    Great Pyrenees: ISFP -- quiet, sensuous, indirect

    Golden Retriever: ENFJ -- friendly, dramatic, needy

    Dachshund: ENTP -- funny, clever, mischievous

    Great Dane: INTJ -- quiet, mysterious, stubborn

    I was going to say that a boarder collie was an ENTP dog!

    Awesome thread and good insight! I really get the "feel" of the types in each dog. I think you really captured their essence well.

    German Shepherds seem rather INTJ to me. They are analytical and inventive, introverted, and structured.


    Golden Retrievers are definite ESFPs. This is self explanatory.

    I don't agree that ISTPs are tough, but that's just me.

    They're really independent and unruly if not really taught boundaries, and even then...-_-'.

    Just to clear things up. We have one adult ISTP and one adult bullmastiff in our household. The bullmastiff was not my choice of breed.
