That particular Husky up above looks like an INFP...all absorbed in its angst and depression.

I always thought the Husky was an ExTJ; energetic, hard-working, and leading.

Chihuahua: ESFP -- energetic, high-strung, friendly

Chow Chow: INTJ -- quiet, independent, clannish

Poodle: ENFJ -- energetic, eager-to-please, creative

Bassett's have always been the dogs I have been attached to. They always seem to be the watchers.

Basset Hounds tend to be rather mellow but can be aggressive. I'd say either ISFP or INFJ, overall.

lol.. we used to breed Shelties when I was a kid.

Tho I've always wanted a Husky/Wolf hybrid as a pet. Friend of my mother's used to have a 160lb Rottweiler/Timber Wolf cross. That dog hated everyone but me, I always found him to be a big lovable oaf of a dog.

I don't want it, I just need it, to breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.

Never take life to seriously.. No one gets out alive in the end anyway.

My INTP friend thinks she's a collie. I think she looks like one.

The two ESFP dogs you've allocated: Golden retriever and Jack Russells.. They're my 2 preferred dog breeds in terms of looks. Interesting.

Why not come up with a new classification system?

    Responsive/Stoic
    Engaged/Withdrawn
    Problem-Solving/Stoopid
    Aggressive/Friendly

Do you really think Ne, Ni, P and J apply to dogs? Are dogs capable of intuition? I'm leaning towards no.

i interpreted this thread as which kind of dogs dog owners of various MBTI would prefer, that match their personality

Yes, definitely dogs are capable of intuition when intuition is described as 7th sence. Dogs are definitely capable of using their 7th sense even more than us humans.
