In the last while, I've met people who've exhibited awfully institutionalised behaviour, like prison behaviour, and they're not in prison, it seems you can take the prisoner out of the prison but you cant take the prison out of the prisoner a lot of the time.
Its made me think about how effective prisons are but its also made me wonder what a society does when other detterants to crime seem to be breaking down or ineffective
Mostly miffed about petty stuff. For those of you who play or have played WoW, losing a PvP battleground can be tough, especially when you're very close to earning enough points to purchase new PvP gear. And especially when the battleground lasts quite a bit of time.
Lost three battlegrounds in a row, all my favorite ones, because the leaders made some patently bad decisions.
"This is an offensive race; we don't need defense."
"Everyone fight in mid and destroy them."
Sigh. No one should have to lose to THESE mistakes. Just because you're the instance leader and sound bossy does not mean you know what you're doing and worth following. Listen to the experienced players!
