i've grown tired of diagnoses being flung around all over the place without reasonable grounds for doing so. i think if you consistently find yourself in positions where every person you meet is worthy of a mental diagnosis then either you've been reading too many psych papers or the problem is you and you should check yourself before you wreck everyone in your vicinity. you'd be hard-pressed to find a person who doesn't fit at least a handful of criteria for a mental illness and that's probably because it's damn near impossible for a person to mosey on through life without undergoing some level of trauma and, in the process, accumulating their own set of mental scars.
everyone's damaged in one way or another so to go through your life pointing fingers and hurling insults at people who you believe have done you wrong is... quite normal, actually, but keep the diagnoses to yourself because those negatively stigmatized labels do nothing but cause the receivers of them emotional distress and sometimes even identity crises, which can often lead to self-fulfilling prophecies. do the world a favor and save the diagnoses for extreme cases, please.
i am tired of everything and everyone and i wanna tear my hair out. i want a re-do but that's not happening so instead i'ma sit down and sip this coffee until the world around me decides to sort itself out. if and when it does i'll come out to play again.
