When I followed up with you on this, it was by doing my own research. Not by advocating on your behalf. Because I am not your babysitter, and you need to fight your own battles.

I don't understand how my other friends have such a high tolerance for your drama queen bullshit, but I'm just about done with it. Grow up. And grow a fucking spine.
Similar rant, but about someone else. And with one small addition:

If you totally check out of a planning process, ignore everyone's attempts to include you, and are generally an entitled asshole who expects everyone to do everything for you, then you do NOT have the right to complain when the planning results in an outcome you don't like. You could have said something earlier, and you chose not to. No one cares, and everyone thinks you're being a baby. So STFU.

My dad just came in my room and started screaming at me because apparently my mom had my doctor write me up some new epi pens even though I said I don't need them and my dad's yelling at me that they cost $600 and like I don't understand why I'm being yelled at when I haven't done anything wrong and also I don't think he understands that my allergy to peanuts its literally deadly and if I eat even just one peanut I'm not going to be able to breathe and then I will die. Like I'm not stupid enough to eat peanuts which is why I told my mom I don't need one but I'm not the one who asked for it so stop screaming at me I didn't do anything wrong.

From what I've gathered the main risk is unknowingly eating something with traces of peanut. So having at least one epi pen around might be a good idea anyway if your allergy is this strong.

EDIT: A quick research shows an EpiPen costs about 100 Euros around these parts. Now, that's material for a new rant of its own.

my professor needs to stop sucking at making tests and quizzes. so many of the answers could be plugged in as 'true', and yet students are expected to choose one. these tests effectively evaluate what you prioritize, not what you know.

yup two of my cousins have major nut allergies they're 8 and have learned to avoid nuts but traces can kill them, so as a precaution they carry around epi pens. I think it's more of the precaution thing. I'm more concerned that your dad was upset about how much they cost rather than oh if she accidently consumed peanuts she could die. How selfish can you be? sorry I don't know your dad but just seems a very selfish reaction to me. that's like saying i'm not gonna buy my infant clothes even though its below freezing, i'm just gonna take her outside without one on and when she dies, i'll be like well clothes were to expensive

ok I no longer have the stupid, thank you.
