I guess every moving experience has one serious headache- getting internet to the new house has been ours. Every individual from AT&T who has come out to the house and tried to help us has been super nice, but the sales folks have continuously given us incorrect or misleading information. This system sucks.

Ugh I might have messed up my friends job opportunity. Hopefully she can fix it.

It sucks how something can be so unethical but yet still be legal.

Whoa. You must live somewhere very dry.

I live on the 4th floor. It really doesnt matter how filthy my room is, it is not going to attract mice. It just isn't, and I don't need to be fined for a 'potential problem'. If it attracts mice, I will just pay for an exterminator and hit it when it actually has a core. I am not organized I get it, but I really tried to make it more organized when I left and I still get shit for it? Maybe what I view as organized is just different from what you view as organized, and seeing as I pay for the room and that it will be returned to its original state when I leave, it just seems really stupid to have to do this dance in the meantime. I need a maid.

Really unlikely though. What are the chances that they are so attracted by the mess in my room that they just decide to scurry up one specific trail in the middle of winter- though I have no idea what mice do, if they hibernate, burrow, maybe specifically search out warm indoor places like pipes?, into my room during the three weeks when I am not here. Seems quite a bit of work for them when there is a dumpster 20 yards away from the front of my building. Rat in a maze... Maybe, but still russian roulette sort of thing even that. So many rooms, with probably other things that could attract them. I just really think that it is unlikely enough that the only reason it would be mentioned is for some sort of dramatic effect.

Yeah actually looked it up, guess it is possible- and they do search out warmer places in the winter so it could possibly be a problem. But still I think unlikely. Ill clean it more though at some point, but I am just really bad at it so procrastination for now.

I love having friends over. I love cooking for them. I love a lot of things about hosting parties. What I DON'T love is being responsible for everyone's merriment. Can someone else do that for me please? I am not good at the "keeping people happy" thing.

Better yet, could you people just be happy to have each other's company, and my company? Because that is 100% of why I like to bring you all together.

Please, for the love of God, just have a good time without me having to hand-hold you through the entire process! Is it so hard to be grateful that I'm even hosting this damn thing???
