I take umbrage with the allegation that rock and roll is noise pollution.

I think rock qualifies as noise pollution, but roll clearly qualifies as a gentle, winsome sound, like the purring of kittens.
Winterman is coming through the forest down to his Chrimbus cave inside the woods. Now's the time to tell him everything you want inside your Chrimbus bush!

It's just another form of calling a car she...lol
Take what I say with a grain of salt, because that's all it is compared to the ocean of complexity when it comes to actions and real life.

I understand why it's important to be respectful towards people that are going through a hard time and might not want to talk about certain issues all the time, but if YOU brought up a topic and I'm just keeping the conversation going don't tell ME to change the subject. If you started this conversation maybe YOU should be in charge of slowly weaning us off the subject if you're that offended or whatever by it, not pulling the "waaaah no change the topic" card on me.

It happens a lot more than one would expect and it's wearing real thin on me.

What you want to hear is never pollution. What you don't want to hear is always pollution.

There is plenty of "rock and roll" that I am quite sure you would count as noise pollution.
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

True. Bill Haley and the Comets bores the hell out of me.

I was talking to this bartender at Kansas City BBQ. I had noticed that his plates referenced OSU specifically. Turns out that's his alma mater. He received a degreevin biz admin. Rec recreational. He was a highschool phys end teacher and a coach for 8 years. He ended up moving to Cali and started bartending. That was 18 years ago. He says he makes decent money, way more than his prior job. Lmao, I love it. That night he had pulled in a tad under 400. a good night in his words. He's going on 18 years now as a 'muxologist'.

The rant? F you!!! Education industrial complex.

The number of people I've known/met who got a degree like they were 'told' but went on to do something else that paid more and/or was more satisfying, just keeps growing and growing.

Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.
