My great grandmother, Maud Kilgore, was a full blooded Cherokee squaw.

My great grandfather, Joseph Hall, "took" her from a reservation in Georgia.

They had seven children together; she died during birth of the last child.

My grandfather was one of the eldest, and he had many Cherokee features.

My grandfather married a gal' with a predominantly German heritage.

So, my Dad and his siblings do not look like they have any Cherokee blood.

My Mom is full blooded German, and thus I look like more of a "paleface" than anyone else in my family, but nonetheless, I am proud to have Cherokee DNA, and have always respected their culture.

Cherokee from both sides of the family, though nothing direct after the nineteenth century.

How thoughtful of you to include people not born in the US and who are without a drop of Native American blood in them in the poll. Thank you.

No Native American genetics in my body but I'm pretty sure there's some Viking blood in me. They certainly raped and pillaged their way through here.

I screwed up on the poll. I meant to check that I was born in the USA and have some Cherokee (doesn't everyone? ) and Navajo.

I've 1/4096th native American genetics, at least (there may be unknown amounts from other branches).

    My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother was Pocahantas.

This also puts me in the exclusive group of people who have had a Disney cartoon made about a family member.
