When all else fails, go for black on black with a touch of color.
Don't wear anything 50 year old redneck ladies or Honey Boo Boo's mother would wear. Scratch that, don't wear anything that includes the combination of khakis, neon colors, animal prints, jeggings, and/or snake skin. Don't wear tops that look like this...

    Seriously, don't.

Try wearing outfits like this....(Which I can see you wearing, by the way~)

If those are too hipster or complicated for your taste--they certainly are for me, try something like this...

Just uhh, don't wear pants like that. Skinny jeans would look better and less 2004-ish.

But most importantly: Wear what you like and what looks good on you! Go to thrift shops and remember that virtually anything (even those horrific trousers from above) can look good if you do them right.

However there is absolutely NOTHING that can make strappy shirts look nice. N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

    ~Love, an INTP fashionista.

^ Aw. And it was good fashion advice, too!

    I also dislike snakeskin.

@Mane: Can't give you fashion advice til I know what your body type is? But I can say generally:
    - Fitted clothing is more figure-flattering; too big or too small will both make you look larger
    - Nothing's classier than a tailored suit
    - Flat front pants > pleated front pants
    - Dark colors take attention away, light colors draw attention -- same with bold patterns
    - Most of my guy friends somehow take pride in wearing frumpy shoes. Don't make the same mistake!!

    As for @Ukon: More layers!

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

The fashion today is a tailored suit, with a shirt, but without a tie.

I like this fashion but dress it up with an elegant tie draped around the neck, keeping the informal look, but not tied at the neck, just draped and loose.
