Yes, but upon reading your posts and recalling that Newton is also typed as an INTJ, we realize that there's a bit of a conundrum in this way of thinking.

So basically, down with INTP central. I can get behind that.

I do think ESFJ is a better fit for you than ENFJ, by the way. And I'm just as irritated by the anti-S bias as you are.
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

You have to keep in mind tho that if you set the ladder of achievement that high in your logic, it will not bring you the kind of respect you earn.

Hmmm? What have my posts got to do with anything?

That site had an EXTREMELY long thread about how Stalin actually wasn't that bad a guy. If that's the kind of "intelligence" that being an INTP gets you, then I am glad I am a stupid ESFJ.

I can understand why N's are happy to be in an online forum where they predominate, but the whole "It's a S world and everything is so difficult for me!" stuff gets really tiresome. ESPECIALLY when S's might be called whiny because they point out some people's anti-S bias. And, of course, statistics would suggest that some of the N's here are S's in actuality. You know, it's funny to me; given my introduction to MBTI, which was just taking a silly test and reading my type's profile, then reading the others, I can't imagine why some people would really WANT to be INTP, or any one type over the others.

Are they all the same posters whining about S's, or is it just about the same constant "white noise" level of whine, just perpetuated by continual incoming N's to the forum?

(That's one irritation of online forums, to me... the same info gets repeated over and over, because there's always someone new to repeat it since for them it's the first time and they're getting it out of their system.)

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft
