No. It's like telling yourself your half-black... and believing it.

Edit: Which types do you think are pretending to be INTPs? ISTPs, ENTPs...? If, of course, you agree with that statement.
I didn't make the claim so I've no inclination to answer this question.

I think he must be right, because I feel like an ISTJ in denial. I just can't help but correct your use of your instead of you're in the sentence above. I know that one needn't be so particular about spelling, but I have a compulsory need to correct others on improper grammar and spelling. The linguist in me writhes in disgust whenever I am driven to do so, however.

It's normal. I can imagine a few INTPs doing such for their use of tertiary Si. It's not an ultimate indicator of one's type. I'm not in a position to judge whether or not you are an ISTJ or INTP. Maybe if you made a 'What's my type?' thread about yourself you can get a good idea of your type if you are indeed confused about it.

Sure, if you poll INTPs about it.
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

I have to be honest I was confused about this title I thought it was missing a me, like he was accusing us all of being suspicious of him "Posters you are suspicious about me" I was so confused. I still am, but I actually don't know if he is accusing us of this or not.

I don't consider myself particularly smart. Then again, I might be just one of those who are pretending to be INTP.

I'm a sensor, but half of the time, I don't understand wtf anyone's talking about here. If that makes the OP feel better.

True. I would guess though that there are a few people of other types who mistype themselves as they deeply respect and wish to have the same psychometric profile similar to people like Albert Einstein who is believed to be INTP.

Frankly, I don't care if I am ESFJ or ENFJ. If I am ESFJ, it would be nice just to get people who constantly beat the "ESFJ = dumb, INTP = smart" drum to STFU.
