I only watch TV when I visit family over the holidays. My dad has satellite, my in-laws get cable. Consequently my two current favorite shows are:

    Junkyard Wars and
    Bizarre Foods.

Man vs. Wild gets an honorable mention.

    TV...
Sherlock Holmes (almost has to be Mr Brett though)
    Cracker
    Criminal Minds
CSI (I got no option in the beginning and now I quite like it)
Law & Order : Criminal Intent (who wouldn't like Egger dressed up as a detective?)
    House
The Dog Whisperer (day time TV took my soul...)
Top Gear (a show for petrol head's looking for a laugh)
The Vicar of Dibley (Amusing at points and nice to see the missus laughing at her TV mirror image (Alice))
Yes Minister & Yes Prime Minister (if you've never seen them then your life has being a waste thus far. The best of British comedy bar none)
    Random cop reality things...
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

Most of the shows in this thread, I haven't heard of - but I don't watch much TV, and when I do it's usually BBC or French comedies or Star Trek, and then, mostly on DVD when I feel like it.

I'm sorry to say I can't stand the history channel... it makes me rant furiously at the TV... at the bias, inaccuracies and stuff...

I totally understand... however, it was like a drug; I couldn't turn my eyes away from it!

Oooh, I was a huge fan of Six Feet Under, but I missed the last season for lack of HBO. I'm currently watching it on DVD. Perhaps the most shocking, tantalizing plot point of the entire series just happened, and now I have to wait for the next DVD from Netflix. Aaaugh.

Also, I loved Wonderfalls. I wish it had stayed around, but at least now we have Pushing Daisies from the same creator.

Wonderfalls had so much potential, I just hope pushing daises doesn't get canceled because of the strike.Plus, Lee Pace=

I'm watching the third season final of Six Feet Under.

Don't worry, Pushing Daisies is safe. It's doing well, suprisingly enough. The strike will only cause the studios to try to cancel shows that are clinging to life. And the scuttlebutt is that the strike may be over by Christmas anyway.

I just caught Pushing Daisies a couple weeks ago. It's adorable! I was so pleasantly surprised, for such a gimmick show it's very well done.

    Here's what I TiVo:

    Battlestar Galactica
    Most Evil
    Ken Burns' WWII series
    LOST
    Dirty Jobs
    30 Rock
ER (yes, I still watch it- it's not as good as it used to be, but I still like it)
Tim & Eric's Awesome Show Great Job
The Closer (I'm off & on with this one)

I LOVED Six Feet Under and I didn't know what to do with myself when I finished the series.

Falcarius does not watch TV that much anymore, as he hates reality television. The only Reality television programme Falcarius likes is The Apprentice. Falcarius does not even know what half of the TV programmes listed so far are, Falcarius therefore wonders what he is missing out on. The TV in Mr Falcarius room does not even work. Well it does work, but everything looks Purple, from all the times it fell on the floor.

Falcarius chiefly looks at random BBC Four, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, Crime & Investigation Network, Discovery Channel documentaries.

The only programme Falcarius watches religiously now is Question Time.

Falcarius favorite TV programme was The Crystal Maze, but they stopped making it over a 12 years ago.

Falcarius does not really watch it much now, but he likes British comedy like; Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses, Dad's Army, Men Behaving Badly, Fawlty Towers, The Office, and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.
