Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

Sometimes I realize that my shoes are on the wrong feet.
So I try to forget until the next time I look down.

    Word.

I don't know what's with all the insurrection-type threads recently.
This forum is pretty damn liberal when it comes to content.
Jeez, some of the stuff some people get away with is pretty nasty.
Off the top of my head, I can think of droves of members I would perma-ban if the rules were enforced more vigorously.

There is worth in being liberal in this sense, but there are also dangers.
Like letting people ruin the mood of the place with threads like these.
High class trolling and flaming if you ask me. The only purpose of this entire thread is to create conflict and gather people up in factions.

On most other forums this thread alone would be grounds for at least a limited ban.
    Undermining authority is just stupid.
As I have said in other threads, this is not some public damned domain, it is privately owned and thus not some kind of democracy.

Rule #1, the mods/admins are always right
Rule #2, if nothing else applies, rule #1 applies.
    End of list.

You've just split the universe in twain, Trinity. You bastard.

Yes, I just cussed out a mod. If I get banned for it, then all the people complaining are right. If I don't, then will you at least admit that this place isn't the totalitarian state people are complaining about?

Well. I argue that everything is always subjective, there is no such thing as being truly objective.
Rules sure aren't. Two people own this server, and they ultimately decide what to do with this site, whether it's in the rules or not.

What i'm trying to say is that we should be grateful for having them around doing us the favor of letting us hang out here.
It's kind of like starting to bitch about how bad the food is in someone else's kitchen when you are at a dinner with friends.
This is private property, just like the kitchen, and thus people should shut up with the whining and take it somewhere else so that the rest of us can enjoy the ride.

    More or less.

I encourage active enquiry of moderator activity. Not only is it a means to further thoughtful partnership in forum culture, but it often creates quite an enjoyable stir.
