When one starts to bore me, I turn to the other. With video games, it's just you and the game, all in your head. Forums bring an element of "human connection", so you have no choice but to come out of your head. I like to toggle between the two whenever I feel like it. Lately, this forum here is winning, big time.
Yeah, where is the option for MMORPGs and social network games on FB?

Don't like the Twitter way of updating my status though

Yes. I would say MMORPGs are in a different category than video games and are mainly social networking. (At least in most recent iterations, as in WoW and onward...)

Which is better? That is a subjective question which poses no criteria for the subjective determination of the answer. Do you mean which is more enjoyable, which is more fulfilling, which is more interesting, which is more memorable, etc.? There needs to be a more well-defined criteria for the poll to be meaningful...

That said, I used to play quite a few videogames. Then, I found distributed computing as a hobby, racked up about 20,000 posts on my home team's forums, became a mod and then admin there, before the team disbanded eventually, and video games have never quite had the upper-hand since...

My poll discriminates against people like you, for the sake of brevity. What you gunna do about it?

"People like you"?, what kind of person am I "like"?

I'm not going to to do anything about it.

You're one of those miserable people who go in threads just to complain about the poll.

Maybe because of your username your posts just look extra complain-y. Too late for a name change? I know you can come up with something less depressing.
