Thread: What made you happy today?

ALL anger in this world stems from a lack of control.
All of reality bows to the illusion of life and death.

A smexy haircut.
And realising I do know what is best for me. I just need to stop questioning what I know to be truths.

Thinking about the man I'm in love with...What if everything's an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet. - Woody Allen

Being challenged while replying to one of my subscribed threads in this forum. I'm talking about something that I know almost nothing about, so I have to think really carefully while I'm talking about it. I like to be challenged within certain limits.
At work today I worked with a lady named Joanie who I don't know very well, and she was nice to me even though I felt sick and grouchy and I was in a very bad mood. I told her that I was in a bad mood and she was understanding about it.
I enjoyed thinking about a project which I might or might not do. I planned it out and looked at it in a different way than I ever have before.

- Yesterday. It makes me smile in a tired way.
- My hangover isn't that bad.
- Having a good book to read and a couple of Woody Allen flicks if I want to watch something.
- Going out in a bit and it's a nice weather.
- Trip next week.

I just sold an old seminar paper to a new docent, which will spare me about a week of work. Congratulations to me!

Won 50 bucks on a scratch ticket! Considering this is the only one I've ever bought for myself, I'm feeling pretty happy and lucky today.

some african guys are shoveling snow from the roof of our building/building in the same yard and heard them singing some african songs while working. its pretty funny to hear that since finnish people doing that job would just curse their lives and hope that they fall down, while those guys are happy and singing"Where wisdom reigns, there is no conflict between thinking and feeling."
