Just watched a nature show in which this black bear was hungry and strayed into this the territory of these grey wolves, he was like in a pool eating away at something in the water and the wolves all came and circled around him, there was like eight of them, he looks up with a kind of "Ho, ho, what's the crack here now? What do you guys want?" and they're like going to try and bite him and one or two is sallying forward when they get the courage up and the bear is like "Knock it off you jerks!" and just wacks one head over feet with a flick of his big giant paw does this big roar and they leave him alone.

Yeah, anthropomorphising and stuff but I kind of like to see loan animals or individuals see off any pack of predators or bullies.

Speaking to a little boy (about 8 yrs old) who although had recently taken his medication for his ADHD was so incredibly wired .. We had the most amazing conversation today .. It made me smile

Although there are times when i hate my job, i am so fortunate and humbled to be able to meet so many people from different walks of life who inspire me to think differently .. I am truly grateful for these little encounters.

*Sigh....* kinds still waiting on it today.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Managing to go to the library on base and getting "Thinner" by Stephen King and The Pacific by Hugh Ambrose.

I am also wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good fiction (or at least lore) of Gypsies and the devil or anything like that. Preferably Gypsy lore.
Anything that you haven't fought for isn't going to be appreciated. It takes blood, sweat, and a large amount of tears before you appreciate what you have.

You my friend have got an excellent book by the King there, I liked the screen adaptation too but it never was as good really.

Hmm, for either, although its more Devilry than gypsy lore, I would try Dennis Wheatley or Moon Child by Aleister Crowley, good occult thrillers, The Fall by Simon Clark (I think its Simon Clark) is a good occult thriller time travel cross over but it doesnt make any sense, its a good read though, its not precisely a gypsy curse or lore one but it does feature some weird folkish magic.
