Off to see Dvorak's New World Symphony with a good old INTJ friend of mine. Feeling ecstatic.

It's a beautiful autumn day. These always make me happy by default, though.
Weekend's supposed to be just as lovely. And I'm going to have it to myself - or with the INTP best friend, which is just as good.

Stupid tub faucet broke last night. Weird "pull-down" diverter malfunctioned, so half the water comes out of the faucet, & half comes out of the showerhead, which is insufficient pressure to wash with. It's a replacement faucet I bought- identical to the one the landlord put in that encountered the very same malfunction. Landlord's pretty hands-off, so getting him to replace it would take forever, & dammit, I need to wash up properly.

Due to the extra little adapter pipe that soldered to the primary pipe nipple, no other faucet (that I could afford/receive quickly) can fit this tub. So, I was about to order another from Home Depot, when I noticed "Manufacturer Lifetime Warranty."

Called company. Was on for less than 10 min. They're sending me a brand new faucet, free of charge - no need to return the broken one. Arrives in a week. IME warranties usually have fine-GO FUCK YOURSELF IF OUR SHIT BREAKS-print... so it was nice that wasn't the case, here.

I never would have done this sort of thing, a few yrs ago. Asking for shit or possibly having to demand something was so anxiety-inducing. Gotta thank all the Thinkers in my life for corrupting me/helping me grow, in that regard.

So when this next one (presumably) fails like the others are you just going to keep getting more of the same?

I saw no errors on your citations. Your annotations are thorough and well done.

Yeah, no biggie. Why spend more money on a totally new one if they'll just keep replacing it for free? I suppose if it were something I required in a more time-sensitive manner, it'd make sense to replace the item with a new, different product. But, it's just a faucet - it's still usable (albeit suboptimal) while I wait on the replacement. I'm thrifty as hell, but it works for me. "Good at being poor," haha.
