Its just not been one of those days for a lot of happiness actually, its looking like being one of those, weeks, months and years maybe too. If I could just switch 2016 off and on again that'd be great.

Though I am really looking forward to getting some reading done and getting a good deep sleep on. Looking forward to that. Read an Irish saying today about nothing that couldnt be helped by a laugh and a good sleep

This video always makes me more happy than is logically reasonable.

I just bought an iced latte from my favorite local coffee shop, and for the first time since I started frequenting there, my iced latte came with a bendy straw.

    It's the little things...

My boss said I looked a bit- tired- today and said she felt bad and that I could have tuesday off because it would probably be fine- she thinks she over scheduled it anyways.

And I really really could use a day off. I might sound whiney. But IM TIRED.

    And now- very happy.

I've been really down the last few weeks but this weekend made me incredibly happy...
-I auditioned for a part in a huge themepark's annual Halloween event. I was super anxious but I scared the crap out of one of the hiring managers and got offered a role on the spot. Scare acting is a huge hobby of mine, can't wait to be in full costume again. <3
-Listened to and discovered new awesome music.
-Bought some cute outfits / shoes that I finally had money for.
    -Visited new nature spots.
-Spent my husband's birthday exploring quaint little towns outside our area.

Reading my reviews on amazon, from first to last, its so, so long ago, as much as I tried to be objective those are like old journal entries and there's more of myself in them than ever I thought there could be.

I can tell if I was happy, sad, stressed. All from what I was reviewing, what my interests were, how those interests were expanding or contracting or going from one thing to another.

My mom woke me up this morning to say that- she was thinking last night and it came to her that she thought I was a really really good egg.

And so she told me that this morning and it helped me fall back asleep.

And I saw a psychiatrist today- so theres one thing off- or at least transferred to a different- less urgent section, of my plate.

And... I caught more pokemon! I think I have enough to level up another Eevee.

And @Cloudpatrol sent me a really sweet pm. Thank you again. Didnt want to mention it because...well, I dont know- maybe you wouldnt want me to... But it DID make me happy.

So I made a little less money last year because, you know, I raised a baby along the side. Not much, just a little less but apparently exactly where it matters.

That means I recently got some money back from the tax and revenue service because I had paid too much taxes in advance. Then yesterday I see that they have transferred even more money unto my account - an entire quarter's worth! I assumed it was a mistake and called them today. Turns out it's no mistake, they owed me even more in returns than they had said in their statement that I got two weeks or so ago. But since I was a bit late on a payment they had balanced it off, transferred the difference right away and then returned the rest of the payment in a second transaction when my money finally reached them.

Not only were they fairly fast in processing the whole thing, the tax clerk I talked to on the phone was also extremely friendly and helpful.
