It looks like our highly disagreeable downstairs neighbors are moving out: cardboard boxes in front of their apartment, loads of garbage in the bin, a moving van sized space reserved in front of the house and now a moving van getting filled with stuff.

We are not going to open the champagne until their name is gone from the doorbell though!

So I got myself my first ever set of higher quality makeup and spent today learning the basics of how to use it. It's turned out to be a small discovery. I like doing this and am catching on really well - that feeling of putting my natural competencies to use is something I really have been starved for lately.

The fog. We rarely get fogs. Today the city was shrouded in subtle white. It was beautiful.

I was really upset because I had been looking forward to playing Pokemon Colosseum on my Gamecube over winter break, but when I went to hook it up, my sister told me she dragged half of the GameCube stuff (cables, controllers, the actual game) to my mother's house and now it's lost in the abyss forever. I was really sad (I will admit, I first-world-problem-cried a little bit) and then my bff told me he still has his Gamecube too and all the stuff for it and a copy of Pokemon Colosseum so he's going to let me borrow it, so my dreams for winter break get to come true after all!!!

I work graveyard and working less than 1/2 mile from the Pacific it can get pretty foggy at times. Last night it was especially foggy so I decided to walk to the quicky mart at 3am, one of those 24 hour ones. It was glorious, so dark & foggy

I took some photos (with the intention of sharing them here in this thread). The first photos I took with the flash on but it kept coming out as 'white out', you couldn't make anything out. I turned off the flash and then the photos came out all black with just a couple of blobs of white around the traffic light...

The entire series of the classic 1980s cartoon "The Real Ghostbusters" is available on DVD. IMHO, it's far more entertaining than any of the films.
If bees did go extinct, we could always hire people to dress up as bees and pollinate flowers with tiny feather dusters. Sure it'd be more expensive, but there are also millions of idle teens.
