    Old man came into the shop today and remembered I'd served him last weekend. Asked me how I was doing and I said I was ok but made a lot of mistakes. "Well he said, if anyone criticises you for it, just hold your hand up and say 'only Allah knows what is right or wrong' that ought to frighten them off"

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

    Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
    "Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

    KITTIES!!!

    (OMG, I should open a cat bar/strip club fusion thing and call it 'Kitties and Titties'. Or 'Cats and Pussies'. This idea sounds promising. Reminds me of this old man who told me his girlfriend back in the day used to yell at him for always having her cat on his lap, but he could never tell her that he'd actually prefer having her on his lap, because her parents were always in the room.)
    Ewww is the new sexy

    Getting the keys to a new place!
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    After being sick with food poisoning every day off from work and recovering today just in time to go back to work...... It started snowing really heavily.

    Sort of cheers me up, I like seeing snow.
