My son got invited to join the black belt club at his MMA school. This is essentially the "elite" class for the tigers (aged 4-6) group.

We got the money we need to buy our new used car.

It's about 1:30 am. I'm driving home. Rain is lightly falling. I'm taking "the scenic route" as I am wont to do. I drive down the hill, past the rail yard and water treatment plant. I'm the only car on the road.

I turn on the radio. "In The Air Tonight" starts playing.

Crushing. Just straight up crushing, no labyrinthian e4 intensifiers involved. Also, yesterday's adventures.

I can sit around with my feet up all day, and tomorrow, and the next day. For nearly an entire week until next Wednesday.

Bill Nye, on why he has never married (legally):

"Yeah, scared of commitment, blah blah blah, what is this going to mean, am I going to end up as miserable as my parents were?"
    "Yeah, that's a fear."
"Yeah, that's what happened. It's not rocket surgery."
"Yeah. Yeah yeah yeah. And what about now? Love in your life?"
    "We'll see."
    "Lookin'?"
    "Psh,
    yeah, we're always lookin', baby."

Just the way he said 'yeah' was hilarious.

I went on a shopping spree, I also noticed the ridiculous summer sale on Steam, so I had somewhere to spend the last bit of my money. Quite a lot of nice deals, I tell you!

    Swimming in the ocean.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
