Candy corn, music, and warmth...a perfect storm of smug comfort on chilly, wet day.

Oh damn...I have work to do!

Corny crappy films about love directed with younger people than me in mind, books, filled with hopeful thoughts and brimming with optimism and messages which resonate with me so much, and a day to myself to muse, to write and think again on what life can be, will be if I make it so.

A great day indeed. And some great coffee.

And I walked my little wild Corgi today, this morning, for the first time in days, weeks maybe, he walks the same route all the time and is never ever bored but seems enthused and excited all the time. His silly, stubborn refusal to get dried even though it meant he'd be locked in the utility room until someone came home he would allow to dry him off was no source of annoyance to me today.

And salad sandwiches with lots and lots of lettuce for lunch. I've got a thing about lettuce today.

People keep mistaking my oldest son for my partner and parent to my two younger children. We're having the best time arguing if it's because he looks older or if I look younger. *goes back to looking in the mirror*

A boy, ya know, made me happy. Not my dad, either.

The moment when you start to associate a song you used to associate with someone who broke your heart, with someone way better instead, so you can listen to it feeling amazing again

Saw a child here in Greece playing peek-a-boo by herself using a towel and a mirror.

Slept in late. Really beautiful weather. Sweet boyfriend. Cleaned my room and bag. Good lunch. Good shopping trip. Sweet parents. Funny brother. Comfy couch.

I don't know that I am finding happiness through this forum anymore. But I love many of you. It is making me sad.

Don't worry about it, this forum can be quite negative and draining at times. Life away from it for a while is a good recharger.

Alternatively I think I would love to meet up with some of the people here.
