I was an assistant referee for 5 minutes of my 17 year-old sister's soccer game because an old man was late.
The funny part was that I stopped her team from potentially scoring on a multi-man breakaway with a tough offsides call, and boy, her coach yelled at me!

I realized that I no longer see much utility in saying what people expect me to say. I seem to be happier and get better results when I say what is on my mind. It's not like you get points for saying what's expected.

I think I'm content to leave devotion to earnestness and sincerity NF men. Mischief is much more fun.Forget the dead you've left; they will not follow you.

I had this really tasty sangria soda. It really hit the spot.
I read about the Khan Academy and got really excited for my two daughters, who I've been working with to do better in math.
Being on the rooftop of the house I live in, which is on a hill and being able to see the city night lights in all directions for miles and miles. If only I could turn it into a fortress and setup a few machine gun nests for the eventual zombie apocalypse."The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.
