Spotted a mantis on my fence. They aren't often seen around here.

08-24-2012, 11:10 AM #1452I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

The person in front of me at starbucks paid for my drinkTake what I say with a grain of salt, because that's all it is compared to the ocean of complexity when it comes to actions and real life.

The smell of rain in the air.To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.
~ Elbert Hubbard
Music provides one of the clearest examples of a much deeper relation between mathematics and human experience.

I went to Tesco today to buy a replacement battery for my guitar tuner; all week I've been out of tune and decided enough is enough; So I went to Tesco, as I said, with £10.00...
I would have took £5.00 but, I wanted a coke too, so I took £10.00.
This was the ONLY one they had in stock of the one I wanted.
and it said £10.00 - Thought 'well that's what I want, it's a little expensive, but I sort of do need it.'
When it went to pay for it to my surprise, she said £4.00, I was like
"that's a nice surprise, I thought it was £10.00."
I got a coke on the way home... Corner shop.
I usually use this multi effect with a tuner but, the power supply to that busted, and I was using this clip on dedicated tuner that needs one of these batteries until the battery died last week; I'm finally back in tune... Again.

Realised I was the only person with photographic evidence that a certain rare bird is nesting in the city this season.
Jingoism belongs in the trash, so you had better keep it to yourself.

Today I saw a lot of friends who I hadn't seen in over a year due to different geographical locations. It was great to see familiar faces and catch up.

I saw a meadow vole when I was out working in the yard earlier.
They're really cute. Almost look like a cross between a hamster and a mouse. Fat little things.
