Default EMOTICON POLI-TICKING (and method of use)

Do you like to always consult the legend or type the code from memory?

If memory, is it because you have a select likely that you usually use? Or, you just a human computer?

Do you use emoticon to smooth a potential perceived sting of words? Political diplomat, you!

    Or, to instigate/stir shit?

    DISCUSS! Emoticon politics/dynamics!

I just use them instead of words. See if you can interpret this message:

I'm kind of  but I and so I and

I emoticonize to convey the feeling behind my words in the absence of the tone of my voice and the animation of my face. Other times, I want to respond to something, but I'm too busy to really say much.

And I love doing stuff like ^. I generally enjoy deciphering the meaning of symbols, and sending out cryptic messages.
There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

Hi, I'm kind of sleepy but I love to party and fuck the rules (like sleeping when it's night) so I'm drinking coffee and am kinda buzzed and awake!

I have a set of favourite emoticons that I use and I type the code from memory. I tend to overuse emoticons because words seem too bleak to convey the emotion behind them. A little here and there makes it all more pleasant for myself and hopefully for the reader (probably not for the eternal hater of emoticons, though). I mostly use humour and some tongue-in-cheek meanings, so it's always best to use emoticons to try to avoid misunderstandings. Can't call myself much of an instigator though, couldn't be bothered.

Ones I use frequently I just type out. If I only occasionally use it, I have to look it up. Especially if the code is misspelled. :horor:

    As far as usage...

I have found that the INFP by my name means people don't expect certain types of humor from me. If I say something really dry and NTPish, people assume I'm being serious, and then I have to clarify that I was, indeed, only joking. Which makes it not fun anymore.

So to play it safe, I error on the side of emoticon.

It's more fun when people don't understand that you are being sarcastic. Don't bow to the emoticon pressure!

I use emoticons for showing or - I like :tongue1: too. I'm not exactly sure why I use them, I'm just trying to contribute instead of just pick on Udog.

(<- Had to look that one up.)

I don't often use . The only time I can really use it (with maybe one or two exceptions) is if I would really hug the person in real life. Consider it an emoticon quirk with me.
