I think your humor (if you could call it that) would be dark comedy. Your point isn't just exclusive to facebook - it's just even more annoying to you because, unlike spoken word, the conversations are hung up as bulletins for you to see. It's my personal opinion that people enjoy comforting themselves through those little rote activities because they are often kept to themselves. Now everyone is "forgiven" by reminding themselves they are OK, even though they take showers just to feel the warm water. It's not surprising or worth reacting like a petulant child over.
Ah so you did follow, sorry for the misunderstanding on my part. As for acting like a petulant child, I think that as soon as something receives critique online it's called whining, so I guess that's what I'm doing. What I find more interesting is if you are acting as a defender of the people with their mouth stitched shut or if I have insulted your own habits. I'm guessing the first option and you really do come of as a knight in shining armor. Please allow me bow my head in reverance.

It gives me endless pleasure to send little things to the people i care for to make them happy.

There's nothing better than a surprise ray of sunshine in the mail.

Terrible things happen to good people every day.
Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

    Holy SH*T people are stupid.

On a sort of related note:

Doesn't everyone want to be happy?

Don't people observe and learn things (in the context of avoiding mistakes) from very clear, repititious patterns of behavior in themselves and others?

I admit sometimes the inanity here annoys me a bit, even though I do take part in it. But it only annoys when it is a constant stream of inane and completely sensory based bulletins produced by those who wouldn't dare entertain the notion that they might be sensors.

But I know what I have to do:

the formless thing which gives things form!

I'm fairly certain I'm a sensor with a slightly higher than average (for a sensor) number of intuitive idiosyncracies. Some are probably due to my ADHD or NLD...which calls into question exactly how relevant the MBTI is in my case.

Ironically enough, my comment about people being stupid is partially related to something I learned about on facebook and IRL.

The last 20 or so posts in this thread were the best I've ever seen here...
