I'm enjoying weapon of choice: world war 2.1 more than I ever would have guessed, naval combat with futuristic hardware in a time travel tale

Ugh, I'm not feeling the gym tonight. But all of our TV shows are on tonight, so that can be my reward for going to the gym. Oh yeah, that and physical fitness.

I find it hilarious my grandparents still give me a card with money in it for my birthday. I've told them to stop for the last 6 years.

From the Undertow
It's amazing just how everything in the universe is interconnected. Humanity is just a very small part of the universe, yet what happens in it can have an affect on us. We are a product of our universe. We are a product of our environment... yet we have a choice how to respond to our environment. This choice is the great process that humans are capable of, which is called learning, a beautiful aspect of life. Furthermore, learning and acquisition of knowledge, and using that knowledge to benefit our lives and others around us is essential for the survival of our species.
“Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings -- always darker, emptier and simpler.”

When you're on a road trip and you have to pee on the side of the road, do not, I repeat, DO NOT pee on the police officer writing you a speeding ticket.

Hey moron at work... Attempting to ridicule me for non conformity only gives me attention and encourages me. This isn't going to work out like you expect.

Short is the opposite of long but also the opposite of tall. This confused me yesterday when my coworker said something was longer than X but shorter than X. He meant not as tall.
I have decided the to eliminate confusion the opposite of long will now be brief. Like a limo is not as brief as a vw bug. Spread the word. About half of my coworkers are convinced. The XSTJ ones are really resisting it though. I told them if they keep using short as the opposite of long they will first sinus retro, then old school, and eventually just sad.
