So I'm watching some 80s music videos on youtube and reading the comments. It's the usual "today's music sucks" vs the "no, you just have to look for the good stuff because it's not on the radio" arguments. So which is it? I do think today's pop music isn't as musical and that's probably the biggest difference. I don't think it's merely nostalgia bias. We don't hear much saxophones or violins in pop songs any more.

Tomorrow, I go to my first tabletop RPG game. I wanted to get into D&D 5e, but the only open group I found was for Pathfinder. We're playing in a setting inspired by Penny Dreadful, and my character is an Investigator. She's going to kick so much ass.
Suppose I wanted in on this. What would I have to do?
I'm open to committing murder, justsayin'. :p
