People surround themselves with real threats under the delusion that it protects them from fake threats.

I feel like shit. I felt so great about having a 3.8 (which is considered high) but now it's all gone to waste. The whole year behind me only hurt me. I might as well have not taken it.
Mine tanked a bit over time too. The thing is that early on, you are mostly taking gen eds and/or stereotypically easy courses. And also for me, I had less on my plate with not having a job. The courses you take in your final two years are often the most difficult and thus your GPA is going to suffer a bit for it. I'm not really sure how people manage to have upward trends in GPA as opposed to downward. I guess if you are a super genius or if you didn't try your freshman year, you'd have this trend...but I'd wager that most people's GPA tends to decrease throughout college.

@EJCC These are two hilarious Awkward Yeti comics that I love, that don't involve heart/brain. Generally speaking these ones are just charictures of bodily functions.

I found a hangout place where solo people actually go and actually talk to each other and are friendly, it's not all closed off and isolated. It's pretty cool.

what? haha. The norm is often people just doing their own thing, no interaction. This place is pretty chill though. I like it.

Ugh, I hope the career development office of my alma mater will be helpful when I call them tomorrow.

On a positive note, I feel like I'm making progresss with the GRE quantitative.
