There are four colors that I hate -- white, yellow, orange and green.
I don't hate them in general, just on the things I own (with the exception of white boys). The one that really gets on my nerves is white. I don't understand why people like it so much. It's plain, boring and is easily dirtied. And it gives off that "I'm holier than thou" vibe.
Speaking of holy, as a child I've always preferred black angels. I found them much more interesting than the stereotypical white angel. I think it's the contrast between what's good and evil, and when you put the two together in what's supposed to be good, it makes for a very mysterious/enigmatic character.
I guess why I don't like it is because I find it stereotypical and one-dimensional?

Simple rule of economics that most economists ignore:
If a business can raise prices without losing business, it will do so; if the business can raise prices AND gain customers, it is driven to do so.
That rule explains all four of those curves. The specifics differ, but the rule always applies. In higher education, the cost gets subsidized by grants and deferred by loans. In health care, the costs are hidden as before-tax "benefits". In cars, people will not buy overpriced cars. (The fourth curve is just the control value, the CPI, showing that cars are effectively 1/3 as pricey as they used to be in inflation-adjusted terms.)
The rule also explains the housing bubble.
You'd think people would learn, except there is a LOT of money at stake in maintaining the bubbles and it's always easier to make out like a bandit while you can than to suggest that maybe we shouldn't be giving away "free stuff". Oh, and you're a big meanie if you suggest that people don't deserve free stuff. An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.
A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

I think i figure out why i like to adopt and take people in in all manners. Its like "i got you, just grow"Take what I say with a grain of salt, because that's all it is compared to the ocean of complexity when it comes to actions and real life.

I wish I could know the long strands of hair I find intertwined through my clothing throughout the day were a girl's and not my brother's.
