1-4-6 : these Ones are quite imaginative, creative and a bit melancholic. They are extreme perfectionists and can easily feel discouraged and let down by the imperfect world around. They don’t easily trust others and tend to avoid society, but at the same time they crave being loved and belonging. They also have a bit of a temper so their anger can show especially when feeling misunderstood. They tend to support the underdog and they can have a passionate, belligerent streak to them.
    usual subtypes: sexual, social, 1w2
    similar tritypes: 1-6-4, 4-1-6
flavours: imaginative, passionate, suspicious and sensitive

    This really sounds like me.
[Interviewer: "What was it like to be defined by being beautiful?"]
Connelly: "It's uncomfortable to talk about - there's no way to come off right! If you say you are beautiful, you sound obnoxious, and if you deny it, doesn't that sound obnoxious?"

I think my forum behavior is much like this.

What type do you believe me to be then?

    I complete disagree.

Sure, that paragraph might be something you identify with, but it doesn't mean that it's your type (Edit: I'd actually argue that the paragraph doesn't sound like E1). It's just a tritype description. You have displayed lots of behavior in your time here, your thought processes, experiences, etc. I have seen close to zero evidence of it stemming from the processes, growth, and dissolution of E1. This is a type I know inside and out, and not just because I am a 1w2. I generally do not speak up about types unless I think they are completely off the mark, but this is one of those cases. I see you as E4 more than anything else. I could potentially see E3, or maybe E9, but not E1.

It's not unheard of for people to think they are E1 because they are hard on themselves and perfectionistic. However, it's the way that's done that matters, and many types can be that way. In fact, E4's tend to be perfectionists as well. Ask @OrangeAppled as she has gone into great lengths to explain how that manifests.

Well, I feel proud of myself.
I don't mean to pry, but why would you even make the eyes?

Not that I was asked... But I see you as heart/image triad. I agree with @Hard. e3 or e4 stands out for you most to me.

I get no e1 vibes from you at all. You likely have a 9 fix in the gut triad. As for your main Enneagram type, I think @Ingrid in grids might have a handle on that.

Drank too much tea last night so I was channel surfing at 2:00 am and caught several minutes of a documentary on Grace Lee Hoggs, a Marxist civil rights activist in Detroit. She's 95 yrs old. She's seen both the rise and fall of Detroit and the fall of Detroit is largely due to efforts of lefties like herself. One wonders, at 95, does she finally get it --- that she's been wrong for 50 plus years or does she still cling to the Marxist utopia despite being surrounded by the reality of failed Marxist policies? I think she's an ENTP.
If bees did go extinct, we could always hire people to dress up as bees and pollinate flowers with tiny feather dusters. Sure it'd be more expensive, but there are also millions of idle teens.

I've still only got Frosty's opinion on my enneatype. :p

    I have a Johari again

There are vices in government more destructive than natural plagues. An error of this kind depopulates and impoverishes a kingdom. If the most severe, the most profound speculation is ever necessary, it is in those public and problematic cases, where reasons of equal weight hold the judgement in equilibrium. -LSM

Indeed. e3 and e9 are quite related. I mistyped as e3 long ago. I even sometimes score e3 on tests.
