also... we got the new refrigerator and the ice maker and water dispenser weren't working even though we ran the water line to it... we tried and tried to figure out how to get it to work for several days, but alas, it would not work.

today I actually read the instruction manual, sitting on the kitchen floor beside it, where it refuses to fit into the spot that the refrigerator goes because it's half an inch too wide... the manual said that it wouldn't work without a water filter... I looked into the damned thing and guess what? NO FUCKING WATER FILTER

luckily the nice lady at the store gave me one for free (with reason, since it should have had one) and now it works! I totally get to brag about fixing the refrigerator to the man tonight and feel like the pants wearer of the household
You can thank reading the manual for solving that problem. See? They're useful and supposed to be read!

LOL I could write a novel out of an instruction manual.

I once made up an interview with a microphone...

look at this way then you can become super skinny and get all the bros to love you and buy you drinks at the bar.especially if you wear a bra and stuff it with toilet paper.

the important question is, who is the villain, and do they twirl their mustache while plotting evil things to do to the hero? like tying him/her to the train track?

(why does my mind go straight for silent film scenarios?)

    1. It's Wilmer (Hector's Dad), and yes he does. Also his ponytail.
    2. Yes, he grounds our hero, Hector.
    3. No, not that far xD

Tried to give blood today. (Prepare for ALL the gory details! )

First reaction: "yay, no more finger stick!"
Had a bad stick in my arm, so there was pressure building up in my forearm and so they released the clamp thing and then they lost the blood flow to the bag. A bulge formed above where the needle was (me: "ooo, that is gorgeous") so they were working to drain it and restore blood flow through the needle and it didn't work so they stopped.

Gotta wait two weeks before I can try again because they did stick me and I did lose blood. Funness.
    Accidentally offensive

so we don't have to break out the old timey piany (not piano... that's too classy) music for accompaniment?
