Well, there's good the adjective, and good the noun, although the noun form is usually used as a plural, such as in dry goods.

It can be a singular, abstract noun, like the greater good. The institution was a moral good. Evil can also be an adjective and a noun (though I don't ever know of it being a concrete noun like dried evils) There is no noun form of bad though. There isn't a bad, or bads. Why is that?

More significant, though, is the fact that bad and evil, both as adjectives, still don't mean exactly the same thing. A person wouldn't necessarily use them interchangeably. But when I use good as an adjective, it is left ambiguous as to whether I mean the opposite of bad or the opposite of evil.

I'm not sure. Dried evil could refer to some dried squid I tried once.

Sometimes in slang, bad can actually mean good. Like, "I want the biggest, baddest car I can find." I don't think evil really has the same slang meaning.

I hate when you have to argue against other people's arguments when you agree with them.

I think I want to plant poppies... not because I want to start harvesting opium or anything, but because they're super pretty and I kind of enjoy petting their petals apparently they can be planted by just tossing their seeds at the ground pretty much and they grow, so I may be capable of growing them
