I had to have a VERY long conversation with someone who hates Duke before I could get them to admit that it's not actually about Duke, it's about Duke fans, and the way Duke college ball is covered in the media. I was never exposed to all that weirdness because my reasons for being a Duke fan are exclusively familial -- I'm not someone who became a Duke fan for reasons unrelated to university association.

Edit: Whoa, your post got long quickly. Ni is weird. No idea what you're doing, but have fun with it.
I didn't realize how strongly I felt about Duke basketball until I went out with this guy one time who went there undergrad and told me how big of a fan he was, and I started to kind of hate him a bit.

My GF rowed crew for Duke and you have never seen a crazier fan.

Luckily Duke is a basketball school in the ACC and as such don't come up against my Gators in football too much.

I am a slight bit curious why I think that the stereotypes of ESFJ's are so funny more than any other type.

Ok ok I half lied: I thought INTJ stereotypes were pretty funny as well. Some people thought because I laughed so hard at them I might have been an INTJ. You got to love people's reasoning.
everybody has gone through something that has changed them in a way that they could never go back to the person they once were

I'm a Hoya. What I feel about Duke is engrained into a place far deeper than my rational mind could ever hope to reach.

That said, I thought the 30x30 on Christian Laettner was fascinating, or at least gave me some perspective on why I feel the way I do. If your SO is a Duke fan, then it's something I'd definitely recommend.

Duke/Georgetown games were always very conflicting for me...

It all seems the same to me, although I'm curious about whether these examples are a departure from the artist's usual style. It doesn't seem like they would be.

I still prefer the experiment with the spider webs.

    I'm desperate just to find
    a respite for my mind.

No one in my hometown cared about east coast college basketball so I never felt one way or another about being a Duke fan. But when I moved to the east coast and became surrounded by Georgetown fans (and other east coast sports team fans) who hated Duke...

You've probably seen this already, but just in case:
