Stroking my cat on my lap.

Looking at him I wondered why he chose my lap. I thought it was for warmth but there are plenty of warmer places he could frequent, like the airing cupboard. I don't know exactly, but there is something in life's insistence in existing that is expressed in his choice of being in contact with me.

All domesticated animals are instinctively social. Those animals that are not instinctively social cannot be domesticated.

In other words, yes, your cat loves you.
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

Just because a species cannot speak does not mean that it cannot love. I think in fact that we appreciate the love of our cats and dogs is that it is not hindered by "rationality".

Me: I love the super bowl
Me: *lights a huge ass bowl*

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

I didn't even know the superbowl was a thing until yesterday. For some reason I thought it was at least a month away.

Besides, year after year I keep hearing how "bland" all the flashy stuff (comerticals, half-time shows) is, so I never feel like I miss out anyway.

Six hours later, I would like to dedicate a giant Fuck You to Windows for randomly deleting a .dll file from my computer, breaking my checkdisk, breaking my system restore, and for some reason making it so that Windows refused to update. Six hours later, and I finally figured out exactly what .dll was needed and was able to copy it from another computer to replace it on mine. Screw you Windows for ruining my weekend and forcing me to spend my entire goddamn day fixing these giant problems. This is almost as bad asWORSE THAN the time that one update randomly deleted the internet from my computer and I had to use a jump drive to put a downloader on it to get it back.

    I WIN.
