I'm a big fan of goat cheese + smoked oysters + raspberry preserves on toast. Best snack and you can get the oysters for like $3 at most supermarkets.

I think I need to go back to school, not sure where to start though. But maybe it's too late and given the level of my capacity....

Wouldn't have expected that combination -- but now I want to try it!

Despite my comment above, I bet this actually works really well. I could see the flavors working really really well together. Savory, salty, sweet, subtle, with a lot of texture variety.

It actually comes together pretty well. The goat cheese has a really distinctive flavor that works well with the smokiness and briny taste of the oysters. The sweetness of the preserves breaks it up. You don't want anything too sweet or it overpowers everything else. Less is more.

I had a friend introduce me to the magic of prosciutto wrapped melon as well, which is pretty amazing.

somehow spending half of my day driving a stand up forklift is more exhausting and wearing than actually moving and dragging/throwing heavy things all day long... my ankle hurts from pushing a pedal somehow my brain is still content with being awake

I truly must be a communist at heart. I devise ways in which I can break the rules of nature and give my roommate's two cats food at the same time instead of letting the alpha male eat his share first.
