This guy is kind of hit-or-miss (I think we'll see more "misses" as he runs out of topics to debunk), but this one is definitely a "hit":
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.
A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

This is going to seem like a crazy comment, but I want to ask the question: have we finally given up on true love?
Every time two people meet each other other, they're afraid. There is a residual feeling of what could go wrong which didn't exist in past generations. I have tried to express this myself but it makes me sad, it makes me despair. Why can't we just throw our lives aside for someone else? What is holding us back? Often I feel like an alien in a world where everyone is afraid of what I'm looking for. Cowards. Pussies. Does anyone have a heart anymore?
I live in a world which is turning into shit and if you can't see that, you are part of the problem. Bring out the guns and the sabers. At least I can die for something I believe in Nobody believes in love anymore.
Why can't we just...understand each other again? Get your fucking act together and listen for once instead of being a self-righteous prick.

I like the idea of lay Jedi. I.E. jedi who are fully trained but also function in "regular" jobs. I.e. farmers who knew kung fu in China. I don't know if that's been touched on in the expanded universe but I was hoping they might incorporate something like that into the new trilogy. Might explain the relationship between Rey and Luke.

The more one loves God, the more it is that having nothing in the world means everything, and the less one loves God, the more it is that having everything in the world means nothing.
Do not resist an evil person, but to him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer also the other. ~Matthew 5:39
