Wow. I don't know any INFJ programmers. There is another INFP programmer here at work, though.

@Sultan of Beans, where did that chart come from? I'm curious about the programmer population used, because it seems more heavily-weighted toward Extraverts than has been my experience.

Never mind, find the original here. The sample population is:

This study is relevant because it considers both professionals in a job setting and students in upper level university classes, as well as graduate students. Some students are already working as software engineers. This supports a greater generality of the results reported here.
I wish the study broke down the population more, and described what kind of programming jobs/environments were involved (and the relative proportions).

The discussion section of the study paints with a broad brush in the discussions section, tending towards the stereotypical. Still, interesting to read.

There's quite a number of programs (or people with the ability to program) in my friend group. All of them are T's.

Got two more posts published on my blog this time granted, they're probably not my best but that's okay because I wrote two posts in a row!

Maybe it's the gin talking, but I love the character of Major Charles Winchester on Mash. He's like a breath of fresh air. I know everybody talks about Hawkeye all the time, but I find him a lot more likeable.

I stopped and spoke with the Prosecuting Attorney regarding my son's case today. She said he is an innocent victim of a violent crime and his medical expenses will be paid out of the violent crimes compensation fund.

I really like Dark Shadows and Sleepy Hollow, I wonder if there's any books on how to speak the sorts of english that the characters from independence struggles era America speak, I enjoy it even more than the speak like a pirate day thing.

Eloquence is perhaps what its called.
