Yeah, and you know many parents see their asshole children as their personal failures as parents, so I guess if you start being the person you want to be your parents ought to be more satisfied with their life as well. (I'm not saying they see you as the ungrateful brat you think they see you as, btw...)
That is true of course, but when I look back I could have been a much better son, instead of being a manipulative little prick. I'm not being self deprecating or anything, but it's the truth.
