Bang the Drum All Day by Todd Rundgren is not in fact a feel good song about shirking work and having fun. It's a nihilistic song about obsession. He states that he doesn't want to work, but he clearly and more importantly states that he also doesn't want to play. He just wants to bang on the drum all day.

Your Online Manic Pixie Dream Girl

What is a manic pixie dream girl?

It refers to "that bubbly, shallow cinematic creature that exists solely in the fevered imaginations of sensitive writer-directors to teach broodingly soulful young men to embrace life and its infinite mysteries and adventures." A pretty, outgoing, whacky romantic lead whose sole purpose is to help broody male characters lighten up and enjoy their lives.

I just watched an episode of walking dead in which the hero guy goes nuts, tears some rapist hill billies throat out with his own teeth, totally eviscerates a guy with a big old knife who was going to rape his kid.

Its make believe but I like to see that sort of thing. I like to believe that some place evil bastards really do get what's coming to them.

90% of the time my mood is unpredictable and external events usually have little influence on it. Though I can usually guarantee satisfaction with a cup of coffee... that is something that I can always rely on.

I don't think I've ever been so aware of every single muscle in my back before... I need to train some more people to do more parts of the job better
