I probably would have said Double Stuf Oreos, but this is similar enough that it works.

Plus I have NOT done extensive research, so...

Can someone please explain this joke to me? I just don't get it.

(Not trying to be a dick, I genuinely don't understand.)

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
I believe its lampooning modern manners and PC liberalism.

The lady in the pic seems something of the stereotypical social justice warrior type.

I don't think there's a punchline, I think it's some antifeminist comic just trying to take jabs at viewpoints that piss them off enough to make a comic about it.

But it'd be awesome if science progressed far enough to the point where two cis guys could have a biological child together.

That's just it though. This is a webcomic drawn by a trans woman. And I'm just confused by what it all means and want to understand.

Idk, I've never come across an antifeminist trans person before but maybe??

Or the "heterosexuality has nothing to do with it" is actually completely genuine and not to be taken as ridiculous or anything, and then gift for the patriarchy is just a poop joke punchline. But for some reason I feel like it's going deeper.

    Do the comments say anything?

Yes, lots of clearly liberal people saying they love it.

At least I get the poop joke now, haha.

EDIT: OK, after scrolling through lots of comments, the bigger picture is that the baby was apparently born to a cis man and a trans man.

I think she's simultaneously referring to the actual patriarchy, and calling the two gay dads "the patriarchy" because they are two patriarchs. So not only is it saying "screw you, patriarchy, we don't need you", it's also saying "hey dads, your kid just left you a present".

    Not that funny either way.

Edit: I just read the above and take this all back.
