Yeah.. I view typology as a tool, but not an absolute thing. Too many people neglect other factors or variation within a type.

I think Mr. Rogers was a CIA contract assassin a la Chuck Barris. "Kids, today we're going to go see how crayons are made." Then someone finds the crayon factory manager in his office with crayons jammed into his eye sockets.

I will not allow this. Mr Rodgers was a saint, and actually a secret agent for the counter culture.

I suspected his sweaters were meant to be ironic.

I've read Pynchon, I know what was happening, my assessment stands. He was into jazz, that puts him on the scene before the government knew what was up. And also, his aura.

@Starcrash His sweaters were beatnik wear. Nobody has an eye for this nowadays.

You should know by now to not take my posts seriously, especially where pop culture history is concerned.

Rogers was a cool dude, regardless. I stand by my comment about him working for the CIA.

I grew up watching Mr. Rogers and appreciated his weird soft-spoken words of wisdom. This makes me an ISFJ--report me to the mistyped members thread.

I often wondered where the trolley tunnel led. I concluded 2 possibilities:

    1) the tunnel led to an elaborate basement underneath Rogers' house and backyard.
    2) the tunnel was an inter-dimensional portal to the neighborhood of make believe.
