I don't really see anything wrong with Adobe and I've never bothered to investigate anything else. Anyway, "best" is highly subjective here.

Adobe Acrobat Reader. They kind of own the format, the way Microsoft own Word documents. If you've installed Windows 8 or later, it automatically has a built-in app for pdf reading, but you might prefer the "real" windows version to the RTF version.
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

The thing is, if you could change centuries because you thought it would be cool, then why not also make yourself a lady or a lord? I just really suck at escapism, which is ironic because I'm a fantasy and sci-fi fan.

    A good trait.
And I'm saying it as a specialist in a field of escapism.

At that point, why not make yourself a wizard? It's just as likely as time travel lol

I like the idea of time travel as way to explore concepts and possibilities, I love 'what if?' Exploring things like that can inform your understanding of the world. I don't find pretending to be a wizard very helpful. First I get cranky that I can't actually do magic, then I imagine a world where somebody like me could. The I imagine a real world where such things are commonplace, the social conventions and the bureaucracy necessary to keep some sort of civilization in place. Then I entertain the idea that we are wizards, I start drawing analogs between fantasy and reality: palantir->drone surveillence, lightening bolts from my fingertips->guns, spell preparation/artifact construction->working 9 to 5, studying, baking.

It'd end up being a very thin veneer on a constant argument I have with myself that either I don't do enough, or that maybe I should just chill out and enjoy what I already have.
