    I saw an episode of man versus food in which a guy had opened a british style chip shop and was battering bratwursts because they did not have sausages like in the UK and he had to just adapt, I dont know, maybe it was just that state or locality and maybe it was historic, the man versus food episodes I see here are probably really dated.
