    I love the sound of bacon or sausages frying in a frying pan.

    I'm told Americans dont have sausages like we do and they dont have battered sausages.

    We have all kinds of sausages, so I don't know how to answer this. We may not have battered sausages, but we have batter and sausages, so I imagine it isn't an impossibility in this country.

    I bet they arent really sausages though.

    I heard about you guys calling crisps chips and chips fries.

    We have loose meat sausages, cylinders and patties, ones in casings, from packages, ground from the butchers, fresh and cured, and seasoned all ways. If there's any food Americans are welcoming to all varieties are sausages.
